Bangladesh Denim Expo Announces Workshops for Developing Local Denim Expertise
Bangladesh Denim Expo is going to organize monthly workshops and seminars in Dhaka with an aim to develop skills of local denim designers, developers and denim passionate; and to promote Bangladesh.
The workshops and seminars covering topics such as denim style & trend direction, denim fabric trend direction, evolutions in finishing and advances in technical know-how etc will enable the trainees to be clearly ahead in international trend forecasting and marketing.
Md. Mostafiz Uddin, CEO of Bangladesh Denim Expo, said: “One of the objectives of Bangladesh Denim Expo is to nature local talents and educates them. The plan of organizing these workshops and seminars is derived from the urge to fulfill the objective.”
Two seminars are scheduled to be organized two months prior to the 5th Bangladesh Denim Expo going to be held on 8th& 9th November 2016 at International Convention City, Bashundhara, Dhaka. The participants of the seminars will be exhibitors and visitors of the expo, while the participation of the monthly workshop will be open to local denim human resources. A total of 50 participants could attend each workshop.
