Certificate Award Ceremony
An Award Ceremony has been organized named “Certificate Award Ceremony of Management Training” on garment industry on 3rd November 2016 at Apparel Club, Complex, 23/1 Pantha Path, Link Road, Kawran Bazar, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It has organized by Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP).
It was Certificate Award Ceremony to the successfully completing management trainee under the project “BGMEA–SEIP” financed by ADB for Garment Industries.
The implementation of the Vision 2021 Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA). has taken different project to develop human resources. BGMEA is giving training total 43800 workers and medium level management of garments industries to increase skills through the project “Skill for employment investment program (SEIP)” financed by ADB. The training will be provided at 51 training center and different industries in the country. Note that the focus objects on the needs of the contemporary garment industry training in industrial engineering, best use of Fabrics, production planning and control, safety standards, textile testing, fire safety and compliance are included. Implementation of referral project, Asian Development Bank (ADB) will finance about tk. 52 cores in three years.
The continuation, the certificate has been distributed to the management trainee for increasing productivity and ability of Garment industries.

BGMEA has given training successfully about 9000 people under BGMEA–SEIP. They have been able to provide job about 5500 people of them. At present 2500 people are also included with training program. Most of the trained people are management trainee.
Recently, about 200 management trainees have completed training from BUFT, Daffodil University, Intertek Bangladesh and Institute of Apparel Management (Chittagong).
BGMEA believes that, by the implementation the project SEIP, it helps to remove different odds of garment industries. Thus, people will be able to keep active speed of development of the country.
