Bangladesh Accreditation Board (BAB) and Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) have jointly organized a seminar on the occasion of The “world Accreditation Day “on 08 June 2017 at DCCI auditorium, Motijheel in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The name of the seminar was “Accreditation: Delivering Confidence in construction and the built environment”

The aim of this presentation is to deliver confidence in building construction and discuss the main contributing factors which lead to poor performance during the earthquake and to make recommendations which should be taken into account in designing and construction of the multi storied reinforced concrete building so as to achieve their adequate safe behavior.
