Lean Manufacturing in Garments Accessories & Packaging Industry of Bangladesh
A Seminar and Closing Ceromony has been organized named “Lean Manufacturing in Garments Accessories & Packaging Industry of Bangladesh” on Garments Accessories & Packaging product by Bangladesh Garments Accessories & Packaging Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BGAPMEA) on 18th August 2016 at CICC, Chameli House, 17, Topkhana Road, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The European Union and Ministry of Industries, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has funded on thee componrntes under Bangladesh INSPIRED project. Thee componrntes are “National Strategy For SME Development”, “SME Competitiveness Grant Scheme” and “Support to SME Banking”.
BGAPMEA has work for “SME Competitiveness Grant Scheme” to increase efficience of this sector. The aim is the scheme to proper development for small and mediam industry in this country.
Mr. Amir Hossain Amu (M.P, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Industries, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh) was present as chief guest for the Seminar and Closing Ceromony.
The special guests were Mr. M. A. Mannan (M.P, Honorable State Minister for Finence & Planning, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh), Mr. Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan (NDC, Senior Secretary, Ministry of Industry, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh), Mr. Sushen Chandra Das (Project Director, Bangladesh INSPIRED & Additional Secretary, Ministry of Industry, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh) and Dr. Nazneen Ahmed (Senior Research Fellow, Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies-BIDS).
Parer has been presented by Prof. Dr. Feroz Iqbal Faruque (President & CEO, Trans World Resources Inc.) and the Chair was Mr. Md. Abdul Kader Khan (President, Bangladesh Garments Accessories & Packaging Manufacturers & Exporters Association-BGAPMEA)
Mr. Rafez Alam Chowdhury (Adviser, BGAPMEA) and another Director of BGAPMEA were present there. Mr. Moazzem Hossain (2nd Vice-President, BGAPMEA) has delivered thanks and end the Seminar and Closing Ceromony of INSPIRED project.
