Vietnam is set to witness the Second Edition of Denimsandjeans Vietnam Show on June 7-8
With 48 Denim Companies from 11 countries, the pioneer of Denim Show – Denimsandjeans Vietnam is ready for their second edition named as – Street Style on June 7-8 at the most premium venue of Vietnam– The Gem Center.
FTA with EU is witnessing speedy progress and is expected to be effective January 2018 – which will provide a great push to all industries of Vietnam specially the Textile and Apparel Industry . Vietnam has signed, or will have the opportunity to sign free trade agreements with many countries that span several continents and which cover over 60% of global GDP. Many of these FTAs are already functional, and the EVFTA will be the latest FTA to take effect after that of Korea and Japan.
Denimsandjeans Show aims to bring together the denim supply chain in this region together and besides the trade show , it will showcase some great seminars and talks from internationally renowned experts. There will be a panel discussion “Create Denim for the Future with the Care for People and the Planet “. with senior panelists like Denim Connoisseurs Mr. Sanjeev Bahl (Owner of Saitex), Mr. Christian from Bluesign Technologies and Ms. Sara Fesser from G-Star, and the session will be moderated by Mr. Bill Watson (MD- Coats) on the 7th June.
Mr. Stefano Aldigheri (Former Creative Director – 7 For All Mankind) will hold a seminar and the topic would be – Denim Is Dead, Long Live Denim, where he talks about what direction denim has taken and where it is going.
Ms Dilek Erik, a renowned denim consultant from turkey will share her views while presenting her thoughts on – “Denim Producers Guide To Success In Foreign Market “ on the second day followed by an important session by Mr. Bill Watson ( MD – Coats Vietnam ) “ Vietnam’s FTAs with Europe and other regions – An Analysis Of Impact on Textile and Apparel “.
In expectation of this FTA becoming effective in 2018, EU-Vietnam Business Network (EVBN) has officially unveiled Eurosphere—European Art of Living in Vietnam, an event to take place on June 16-17, 2017, Just a week after the denim show , at the Gem Centre in Ho Chi Minh City. Eurosphere will host 80 European brands including fashion and accessories to showcase their exquisite products and meet with potential local partners. This exemplifies the great interest EU companies are having in anticipation of FTA becoming active next year.
The organizers will also do the livecast of all the seminars on their official facebook page which will enable the world to see what is happening at the show in real time. The show theme is street style and from the exhibition halls to trend area, everything has been designed on the sidelines of street style.
The show starts at 8.00 AM and Closes by 5.30 PM on both days. The entry in the show is based on Invitation only to enable the serious buyers to come at the show.
