AKH Group Launches ECO Apparels Ltd

AKH Group, one of the renowned business conglomerates of Bangladesh, has launched its green garment factory named ‘AKH ECO Apparels Ltd’ at Dhamrai on 6 February.

Honorable Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, MP, inaugurated the factory which is LEED certified by US Green Building Council (USGBC) for its eco-friendly measures.

BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman, Senior Vice President Faruque Hassan, Vice President (Finance) Mohammed Nasir, First Vice President of FBCCI and former President of BGMEA Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin), former FBCCI President A.K Azad and Chairman of AKH Group Delwar Hossain were present at the inaugural ceremony.

EU Ambassador and Head of Delegation to Bangladesh H.E. Pierre Mayaudon, US Ambassador H.E. Marcia Stephens Bloom Bernicat, German Ambassador Dr. Thomas Prinz and Japanese Ambassador Masato Watanabe, among others, were also present on the occasion.
