Home Minister Assures Accord and BGMEA Leaders of Beefed up Security Measures

A team of the Accord and BGMEA leaders headed by BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman held a meeting with Honorable Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal at the latter’s office on 19 July 2016.

At the meeting, the Home Minister apprised the Accord and BGMEA leaders of the measures recently taken by the government to beef up security in the country. The Accord expressed their satisfaction over the government’s security steps.

Chairman of the Standing Committee on Ministry of Home Affairs and former BGMEA President Tipu Munshi, MP, First Vice President of FBCCI and former President of BGMEA Md. Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin), Executive Director of the Accord Rob Wayss, representatives of H&M and Tema were also present at the meeting.
