Trade Multi-union Delegation from Canada Visited BGMEA

A trade multi-union delegation from Canada visited BGMEA and met its leaders, including BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman, on 11 February.

At the meeting they discussed different issues, including the progress Bangladesh RMG industry has made in workplace safety and workers’ rights in the last two and a half years.
The BGMEA President briefed the delegation on the progress the sector has achieved so far and also on the ongoing activities that BGMEA in association with different stakeholders are carrying out to ensure workplace safety and workers’ rights.

BGMEA Senior Vice President Faruque Hassan, Vice President (Finance) Mohammed Nasir, Vice President Mahmud Hasan Khan (Babu) and Director Miran Ali were also present on the occasion.
